Standing up for Hugglescote

Russell Johnson and Terri Eynon were both elected as Hugglescote District Councillors on May 7th. Russell now represents the St John's ward and Terri has taken on St Mary's.

What does a District Councillor do? Quite literally, they "re-present" your concerns. If you have an issue with a Council matter, whether it is do do with planning, tree preservation orders or swimming baths, they are there to help you get your voice heard.

With Parish, District and County to deal with, you can be forgiven for not knowing which Council does what. Never fear. Terri is still your County Councillor and Russell is still on the Parish Council. Russ and Terri work closely together and will make sure your concern gets to the right place.

"We would like to thank those people who have put their trust in us again," says Russ. Terri agrees, adding "We can only do our best. We may not always win, but we will always be on your side in Hugglescote".
