John Legrys - Coalville West

John_Legrys.JPGA town centre is more than just shops and car-parks. A town is also the people who live alongside all the hustle and bustle.

I stood as a Councillor because I was frustrated at the way our town always seemed to be last in the queue. I wanted to demand a better share of the County cake for Coalville.

Coalville has seen too many 'grand plans' thought up by outsiders and developers. Townsfolk have put up with the fall-out from these. Living next to derelict shops. Losing parking spaces on residential streets to make way for Tory-led development.

Labour is listening to local concerns. If re-elected, I will be on your side at the District Council.
