Dave Everitt - Thringstone

Dave_Everitt.jpgI came to live in Thringstone 15 years ago to work with young people in Coalville. I soon became interested in local issues and eight years ago successfully became one of Thringstone’s Councillors.  My wife Julie is a community nurse serving the people of Ashby, Ibstock and Measham.  My daughter and granddaughter also live in Thringstone.

I am a founding member of the Friends of Thringstone. I am on the executive committee of the Thringstone House Community Centre, Grace Dieu Priory Trust and Whitwick Parish Council.  Before moving from Hinckley I served as a councillor on Hinckley and Bosworth council.  I was approximately 20 years in the Territorial Army and for a short time a Retained Fireman.  I am a member of Unison, and Amnesty International.

I am proud to be a councillor for Thringstone and would like to continue in that role. I would respectfully ask you to consider voting for me at the election on May 7th.
